From the University of Utah, we want to thank all of the wonderful couples who participated this year! All final couples are true U of U fans and we could have not asked for more genuine, fun, and amazing people to work with. Each couple has their own unique story and personalities that really made each one of them stand out to us and the public.
We want to thank Shalena and Chris for bringing ball room dancing to the Ultimate Utah Wedding for the very first time. These two ball room dancers have such great personalities and are obviously madly in love! They both attend the University of Utah and live each and everyday incorporating the U of U. As Shalena came to each GTU segment after 12 hour night shifts at the University of Utah Hospital wide awake and excited to be there, its quite obvious she loves the U of U. We wish both Shalena and Chris luck as they both continue on with school as well as their future marriage.
We want to also thank Darcy and Nate. Darcy and Nate have been through more than most could imagine. With Nate being deployed for most of his and Darcy’s relationship they have kept strong and kept the U of U at the heart of their relationship. We want to thank Nate for protecting this country that we all love and call home, its people like you that make our lives possible. Last but not least we want to thank little Noah. Noah may not be all grown up yet, but it is safe to argue that he is one of the biggest Utah fans out there. From his red painted hair to his red painted room, Noah has been so fun to watch throughout the promotion and we hope to see him someday on campus! We wish you all the best of luck in your future marriage and life together.
Tara and Ryan are officially the “Ultimate Utah Wedding Couple” for 2012. We are very excited to work with both Tara and Ryan as the public plans their Ultimate Utah Wedding for them. The two were speechless today as they were announced as our winning couple. They could not be more excited to be apart of this wedding and they are not only U of U fans but they support the University of Utah in everything they do. It is evident just how big of fans they are in a blog post written by Ryan.
“Fans of the University of Utah isn’t WHAT we are, it’s WHO we are. It’s part of our make up, in our blood if you will! “Fan” isn’t a strong enough word, honestly.”
We wish Tara and Ryan the best of luck as the begin this journey together with the public voting by their side. To Shalena, Chris, Darcy, and Nate, Best of luck to you all as you make your journey as well.
As always, Go UTES!
